Welcome to my Arsenal Blog – Forty Nine Undefeated, and thanks for stopping by, having a read and hopefully involving yourself in a bit of Arsenal debate and banter.
I started this blog at the end of the 2013/14 season, after becoming incredibly fed up and disillusioned with peoples negative opinions about Arsenal FC, it’s players and the manager – Arsene Wenger, who in my opinion is a truly inspirational character.
I have played football (not very well mind) for years, and through out those years, I have supported and followed Arsenal’s trials and tribulations with varying levels of passion.
I blame my father for this affliction, he used to go to watch the Arsenal as a lad, and I’ve followed in his footsteps, although I certainly don’t get to watch them as much as I’d like to.
But this is an affliction that I’m quite fond of, and have great pride in.
And that pride is the reason for this blog.
I’m one of those folks who likes to show belief in people, I see the glass half full and try to take a positive but realistic standpoint.
I am not football manager, or acclaimed pundit, but I do believe in supporting your team through both the good and the not so good times and showing a bit of faith in the people and players who represent our great club.
So instead of jumping on that media-hype bandwagon that we see so much of these days, I thought is might be good to show my colours and add my 2 pence worth to the daily Arsenal opinion.
I hope you enjoy it and get a little inspiration from what I write.
